Christina + Matt’s Hotel Ocho Wedding, Toronto

Up on the blog today is Christina + Matt’s chic white and green wedding at Hotel Ocho, a downtown Toronto favourite venue. Christina basically planned and styled their whole wedding – and as you’ll see, she has epic taste, a fabulous smile and some seriously toned arms. We warmed up the sleek and chic space with lush garlands down each guest table,  accented the ceremony space with a massive, asymmetric foliage wreath with pops of white florals, and repeated that motif behind the head table with hanging, greenery-embellished hoops. The result is fresh, chic, bright and romantic without feeling overly froufrou or too girly. Take a page from Christina’s book and go all in on the elements you love (greenery, for her) and forget the superfluous.

This day was expertly capture by one of my favourite wedding photographers in the GTA, Rebecca of Wee Three Sparrows. Rebecca has an incredible eye for clean, minimalistic composition and being a mom of 4 girls and experienced wedding photographer, she knows how to capture moments like no other. For extra points (as if she needed more!), Rebecca loves flowers and always does an incredible job documenting the beautiful details I strive to incorporate into every wedding I’m working on. Whenever she is shoot, I know the photos will be stunning and we will get to look back and enjoy it long after the bubbles have been drunk and the candles have been blown out. Cheers!
