FlowerTherapy Workshops
Learn something new ✔️ Prioritize mental health ✔️ Invest in creative self-care ✔️ Connect with other humans ✔️
Are these on your 2020 To-do list? They are constantly on my New Year’s to-do list. Which is why Q+O is offering a handful of FlowerTherapy sessions in the New Year. I love flowers (obviously!) but that’s because I believe deeply in their ability to make us feel good! Unsurprisingly, there is even empirical research that shows fresh flowers make people happy, lower levels of anxiety and stress, inspire compassion and promote creativity. *
If you are looking to add a mindfulness practice to your life, arranging fresh flowers is a great choice! Fresh flowers – colourful, fragrant and beautiful – engage multiple senses and are simultaneously calming and invigorating. A bouquet of flowers encourages a more mindful approach to your surroundings as you watch them change day to day. And in the cold, dark winter months, fresh flowers are a little reminder that the world will once again be bright, warm and green. Flowers are hopeful, joyful and beautiful for the sake of beauty.
Get ready to inject a little joy into the coldest, darkest months of the year with a fun, flower-filled evening in Hamilton, On. We’ll connect with materials that are fresh and natural, learn how to create something beautiful and one-of-a-kind and chat with other lovely humans. I’ll also share a little bit about my mindful approach to floral design and how I see it impact other areas of life.
