Ivanela + Anthony’s Kurtz Orchard Wedding, Niagara-on-the-Lake

When Ivanela inquired about booking her wedding florals for her Kurtz Orchard wedding, she sent me a bunch of photos of my own work! I’m sure other creative professionals can relate to the pure joy of knowing that a potential client is amped on your portfolio! When we chatted about her vision for her and Anthony’s wedding, I knew we were a great match. For the flowers, we decided on an earthy take on peach, blush, lavender and pops of eggplant. Lush greenery rounded out the gardeny inspiration.

A few last minute planning curveballs meant we had to ditch the original plan of filling the tables with real candles. Ivanela supplied her own real wax LED pillar candles (which I’m happy to say are now part of my rental inventory!) and I supplied delicate budvases with ferns to help round out the tablescapes. All told, everything came together beautifully mostly due to Ivanela being one of the calmest, coolest most collected brides I’ve ever worked with. Positive but realistic, chic but down-to-earth, classy but still so fun. I feel so blessed that Ivanela chose to work with me to bring her floral visions to life. Congratulations, you two! Thank you so much for letting me contribute to your day!

Kurtz Orchard served as the backdrop for the day and Erin Blackwood Photography captured the all the moments, big and small.
